Continuing with the educational programmes, PLAYTIME, TIME FOR PRINTMAKING’ and in conjunction with the exhibition ‘IMPRINTS OF TRUST’, the workshop for adults was held on Saturday 22/10 from 12.00 – 14.00. With careful preparation, encouragement and inspiration from the engravings on display in the exhibition, the workshop participants had the opportunity to design, engrave and then print their plates on Chinese paper. The woodcut technique was introduced, designs were created using the woodcut tools to engrave the wooden surface, and information was provided about the materials.
Due to increased interest, the workshop will be repeated for a second time on 4/11/2023 at 13:00 – 15:00! Please note it is necessary to reserve places by email: ektos@haraktes.gr. Places will be reserved in order of priority.
