Tsitsinta Alexandra

Alexandra Tsitsinta was born and raised in Ptolemaida. She has graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Western Macedonia. She studied at third workshop with Harry Kondosphyris and she has also studied Engraving and Printed Art with Dimitra Siaterli.
Her working fields are engraving, installations and painting. Her work is mainly characterized by chromatic austerity and the frequent use of black-white and the strong use of contrast. The limited color range, combined with the design accuracy, emphasizes the conceptual dimension of the issues that she use, which are linked to the symbolism and the code that she uses, reveal a research mood and of reflection.
She is one of the founding members of the artistic team EN-FLO, which is created in 2011. She is also a member of the Union of Greek Engravers and of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece. As a founding member and artistic director of the Zografi-ZO cultural center, she teaches drawing and painting and curates care of exhibitions and events.
The same time she is dealing with the theater. Where she has attended three years courses - workshops and she has played in various theatrical plays. Another area of her involvement is the illustration of children's books.
She did some solo exhibitions in Greece and she has taken part in numerous group exhibitions in Greece and Europe. She also participates in various Painting, land Art and Sculpture Symposiums as well as in Visual Art Performances.
