Georga Matina
I was born in Athens in 1979.
I started my studies in 2000 at the French Institute of Thessaloniki,where I met my mentor,Stanislav Marijanovic,who was my main influence in my decision of following printmaking a few years later.
From 2001 until 2006 I studied painting at the School of Fine Arts of Athens under the supervision of Anastasios Christakis.
From 2006 until 2010,I gained my second diploma in printmaking,at the School of Fine Arts of Athens under the supervision of Vicky Tsalamata,and Michail Arfaras.
I also work as a stage maker at theatre and I teach art and painting at primary public schools and adults.
